Prison Outreach Program

Thank you so much for agreeing to be part of the Angel Programs Prison Outreach Program. Your participation will make a big difference in the sobriety of many. Below are some directions and guidelines.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Check the schedule for your scheduled date.
  2. Be prepared by contacting or getting information from the previous person who did the class.
  3. If you can not make that session it is your responsibility to let me know as far in advance as possible and, if not, to make sure that the session is covered. I have no problem with anyone switching with others. However, I MUST let them know in advance who is coming.
  4. Stay in touch with me and let me know how things are going. I want to know the positives as well as any problems.

Guidelines for Roederer Correction Complex:

  1. You may not take your cell phone in the building.
  2. Arrive by 5:45 PM and no earlier than 5:30 PM and wait in the lobby. Someone will come to greet you.
  3. You must have a picture ID to present at the gate.
  4. Be prepared to have your truck inspected from time to time
  5. The atmosphere is very light and open.

Driving Directions:

  1. Take I-71 North to Cincinnati
  2. Exit at Bucker (Exit 17)
  3. Turn left onto Highway 146
  4. Turn left at Highway 393 (First stop light and Oldham County High School on left)
  5. Go past the police department on your right and turn right at sign for Roederer just past the police station.
  6. The first guard box right at the road is vacant. Keep driving to the next guard box which in on the left. Stop here for entry.
  7. From here you can see the complex up to your right. The building with the flag poles is where the classroom is located. Wait in the lobby (Door most likely will not be locked) and someone will come to get you and escort you to the classroom.
